New York – September 1, 2017 – Pretium Partners’ Progress Residential, one of the largest providers of high quality single-family rental homes in the United States, today provided an update on the impact and ongoing effects of Hurricane Harvey:
“In the aftermath of the storm in Houston, we are first and foremost focused on the safety and well-being of Progress Residential’s residents and associates. Progress’ response teams continue to assess property damage with the goal of inspecting and repairing all homes affected in as timely a manner as possible. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragic natural disaster and we are dedicated to working closely alongside the entire Houston community to provide them with the resources and support they need.”
The Progress Residential Care Center, located in Scottsdale, Arizona, together with the Progress Residential team in Houston, have been proactively reaching out to residents throughout the storm to check on their well-being and triage property issues. In addition, the Care Center has been handling inbound contacts and service requests and is managing all scheduling of service providers. Progress Residential has been working closely with its local and national partners to procure ongoing delivery of services and supplies. Physical home inspections resumed earlier this week.
Progress Residential owns approximately 1,600 homes in the Houston market. The Company’s property and casualty insurance policies cover flood damage and business interruption costs, subject to certain deductibles and limits.
